Pub of the Season Presentation, The Yarborough Hunt, Brigg

The Scunthorpe & District CAMRA Spring Pub of the Season was awarded to the Yarborough Hunt in Brigg.

Our Pub of the Season is being awarded to the Yarborough Hunt, Brigg. The 'Yarboro' has been a regular recipient of various CAMRA awards since it opened in 2003.

Recently some refurbishments have taken place, with extra space in a recently opened additional room, a welcome lengthening of the bar and two Kabanas (visit to find out what these are if you haven't yet experienced them!!). Landlady Lucy Fensome has been at the helm for the last 9 years but has been at the 'Yarboro' for 11 years. The pub has been a welcome beacon of stability in Brigg, as there have been some unsettling times for Brigg pubs fairly recently.

Being the Tom Wood tap enables a good selection of his local beers to be available alongside nationals, all kept in fine condition.

Having a wide selection of craft beers, ciders, (on draught, in bottles and keg), and non-alcoholic beverages enables all tastes to be catered for alongside lovers of 'The Real Stuff'.

Congratulations to Lucy and her team on the award for their hard work keeping the real ale flag flying high in Brigg. The photo below shows Branch Secretary Mark Elsome presenting the commemorative certificate to Yarborough Hunt licensee Lucy Fensome, flanked by branch members and friends.
